We reflect on the lasting legacies of the families that helped established Orange County. Lewis Moulton instilled the ranching spirit within each of his daughters, Charlotte & Louise.

Rather than take a car, he would drive the two miles over to the El Toro post office, and I used to like to go with him." California History
June 29, 1927 – City of Laguna Beach is incorporated.
June 1947 – Mrs. Moulton served as the Laguna Beach Art Association (LBAA) first vice president and “volunteered to confer with Mrs. Stephens relative to disposition of his collection of paintings.”
1961 – Nellie helped establish the Laguna Beach School of Art which became the Laguna College of Art and Design. Happy 60th Anniversary, LCAD!
