Happy Father's Day!

We reflect on the lasting legacies of the families that helped established Orange County. Lewis Moulton instilled the ranching spirit within each of his daughters, Charlotte & Louise.

"Daddy, of course, had cars in the garage when I was a child, [but] he loved to drive a buggy with his mare, Lady. Rather than take a car, he would drive the two miles over to the El Toro post office, and I used to like to go with him." Charlotte Moulton Mathis, interview by Bettie Webber, May 28, 1991, OH 2205, Center for Oral and Public History, California State University, Fullerton.
