Happy Holidays!

We hope you enjoy the holiday season. We are reflecting on the entire year which began with the commissioning of the Moulton Ranch Center mural, a Moulton roundup in Maxwell, CA and the Nellie Gail Moulton exhibit closing in San Clemente, CA. Thank you all for your ongoing support. We look forward to seeing you at our events in 2021!

The Moulton Family - portrait photo with Louise, Nellie Gail, Charlotte and Lewis. The family is sitting for a formal portrait around 1920. Louise was approximately six years old and Charlotte ten years old. (2017.05.273)
In 1931, Lewis' neighbors wrote this poem to him in gratitude. (2017.05.371)
This back of the poem backside was signed by the neighbors who came together to give the card at Christmas time. Some of the names that appear are William Wendt and Frank Cuprien, Laguna Beach artists that painted with Nellie. J.N. "Nick" and Katherine Isch built a general store opposite the Hotel Laguna. Do you recognize any other signatures here and have any stories to share with us? Make sure to email us at archive@moultonmuseum.org so we can learn your personal connections to the Moulton Ranch.
