“In the legacy left to me, in the name of my husband, in memory of his humanitarianism, I have endeavored, in my donations to community projects, to help, to, hopefully, encourage the spirit of creativeness and enjoyment of the arts, for there is one thing I believe will never fade into oblivion – beauty in literature, painting, music, the drama – no matter how some, for whatever motive, will agitate to bring true talent to ridicule – those who appreciate and know its worth will never let it die.”

Moulton Ranch Center Mural

We are excited to announce the completion of this monumental mural at the Moulton Ranch Center. Created by Tim Smith, LCAD muralist, this vista was created from historical images. View the mural at 25272 Cabot Road Laguna Hills, CA 92653, which is on the exterior of the Howard’s building. Watch our virtual timelapse video to see this creation come to life!

This mural depicts the history of Laguna Hills in a large, immersive painting. Tim combined maps and photos from the Moulton Museum archives from the Moulton Ranch into an original artistic composition.

We are working on scheduling a ribbon-cutting ceremony based on statewide and city COVID-19 regulations. Please stay tuned for information regarding events on our social media accounts and website page.

Happy Father’s Day from the Moulton Museum!
