The Moulton Museum presents American Revolution, the Augmented Experiences — an immersive and interactive journey into the heart of the American Revolution, designed and produced by Histovery in collaboration with the Museum of the American Revolution. Through augmented reality on HistoPad® touchscreen tablets, visitors are invited to relive the founding moments that shaped a nation.

Eight iconic scenes from the American Revolution come to life before their eyes. Visitors can immerse themselves in everyday life in colonial Virginia, witness the early stirrings of rebellion in Boston, follow the strategic turning points that led to the decisive victory at Yorktown, and stand on the balcony of Federal Hall as George Washington is sworn into office — marking the birth of a new nation.

Presented on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, this experience invites everyone to rediscover the origins of the United States through an immersive and contemporary lens.

It also connects to the history of the Moulton name itself, tied to Jotham Moulton — an officer who rose to the rank of Brigadier General during the Revolutionary War. His story embodies the dedication of those citizen-soldiers who helped bring the United States into being, giving this immersive experience a meaning that is deeply personal to this place.
